Boulder Clearance
Boulder relocation and removal involves the repositioning of obstacles from the seabed. Boulders and debris can pose a significant challenge for developers, potentially leading to extensive rerouting, which can add considerable time and expense, however, our industry-leading techniques offer a highly efficient solution to the challenge of boulder relocation.
EODEX has the ability to reduce large boulders, either to a manageable size for removal or complete destruction. We have access to a selection of solutions which minimise the amount of explosive used and also offer solutions where DPII vessels and their grabs would not normally be able to operate. As with all our underwater operations, full regard is paid to the environmental considerations to ensure the absolute safety of marine life.
