EODEX exhibited at the annual event which took place at Tokyo, Big Sight, showcasing our specialised services in end to end solutions for any UXO clearance needs, offering optimal cost efficiencies and superior environmental safeguarding throughout.
It was a pleasure for Lee Wasling, Business & Project Development Manager to welcome Julia Longbottom, the UK Ambassador to Japan, to the EODEX stand within the Scottish Development International pavilion. She was ‘blown away’ to hear about the amount of UXO’s located at offshore wind sites and equally impressed by EODEX’s hugely successful track record in prioritising the environment when clearing the seabed.
A fantastic couple of days were had at the event and meaningful conversations were taken away.
Lee Wasling commented, “Japan aims to become the world’s top producer of offshore wind energy, joining the UK in its transition to a zero-emission economy, while boosting energy security. Like the UK, the sea has always played a key role throughout the history of Japan and as the country establishes its offshore wind strategy, preservation of the marine ecosystem is high on the agenda. As such, it was a pleasure to showcase EODEX environmentally safe seabed clearance solutions at the WindEnergy Expo.”
